If it appears that a person residing in Nepal should be considered as a witness in connection with any judicial proceedings pending in a foreign court or body, the foreign state may make a request to the Government of Nepal through diplomatic channels in accordance with the order of the court or body of such foreign state.
(2) In relation to any case under consideration in the court or body under sub-section (1), if any evidence needs to be understood within Nepal, the foreign state may make a request to the Government of Nepal through diplomatic channels in accordance with the order of the court or body of the foreign state.
