: (1) The facilities to be provided by the Board under the services under Section 5 of the Act shall be as determined by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the Board.
(2) The insured will be able to receive service only to the extent of the following amounts:-
(a) For families of up to five members per: Up to one lakh rupees per family per annum,
(b) In the case of a family having more than five members at the rate of additional twenty thousand rupees per member up to a maximum of two lakh rupees per year,
(c) up to one lakh rupees to be used only by senior citizens above seventy years of age,
(d) Up to one lakh rupees for the treatment of the diseases mentioned in Schedule-6 to the insured with effect from 1st July 2076 without repeating the facility as per clause (c).
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), if an infant is born within the period during which the membership of the insured is active, the services shall be provided to the newborn without additional contribution amount for the duration of the membership of the insured.
(4) After using the facility as per clause (c) of sub-rule (2), the senior citizens who have reached the age of seventy years will be entitled to use the facility as per clause (a) of that sub-rule.
(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rules (1): and (2), the Board may review the facility limits from time to time.
(6) Before revising the limits of facilities as per sub-rule (5), the Board shall take the consent of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance.
