Rule 96
Military Police Qualifications and Posts
(1) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this regulation, the qualifications of military police shall be as follows:-
(a) Passed the Entrance Examination for Sepoy to Subedar or equivalent or passed Army First Class,
(b) not less than five feet six inches in the case of males and not less than five feet two inches in the case of females,
(c) Not facing any disciplinary charge.
(2) Soldiers who meet the qualifications as per sub-rule (1) will be transferred from other units and filled up in the military police.
