(1) When discussing or deciding on a matter included in the agenda of the board, if it is found that any member has a personal interest in such matter, the member concerned shall not attend the meeting where such matter is discussed and decided.
(2) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), when discussing or deciding on any of the following matters, if a member or any member of his immediate family has any right, interest, interest or concern, such member shall be deemed to have a private interest:-
(a) investment selection or matters relating thereto,
(b) Subject to grant of investment permit,
(c) Subject to cancellation of investment permit,
(d) Subjects related to environmental impact study or impact assessment of the project,
(e) Matters related to monitoring of project implementation,
(f) Transfer of the project or matters relating to the operation of the transferred project,
(g) Additional facilities to be provided to the project or matters relating to protection of investment,
(h) Matters related to removal of members as per Clause (j) of Section 3 of the Act (i) Any other matter to be decided by the Board, any matter of personal interest.
