(1) If any foreign organization or any person or organization associated with them wants to collect samples of any organisms, bacteria and plants and carry out any work related to biological diversity in any place within Nepal, it shall disclose its purpose to the relevant authorities for approval. Application should be made. (2) If any application is received in accordance with sub-rule (1), the relevant body shall carry out the necessary investigation in that regard and if it is deemed necessary to collect samples of any organisms, bacteria and plants and to carry out any work related to biodiversity research, the necessary conditions shall be approved.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), the relevant body shall provide the information to the Ministry.
