(1) All trees that have been damaged, edged, stuck, sunk, marked with marks or have been scratched, changed or blown off or have been removed in any way, and trees without marks will be considered the property of the Government of Nepal until someone provides proof of their rights.
(2) The wood as per sub-section (1) can be deposited in any depot designated by the Forest Officer for the purpose of Wewarisi or Dariya Burdi wood.
(3) The Government of Nepal may, by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, make the provisions of sub-sections (1) and (2) not applicable to any species or types of wood.
