Rule 47
Recognition of Certificate of Airworthiness

(1) If an aircraft with a certificate of airworthiness from a member country of the International Civil Aviation Organization or a person or organization authorized by such a country wants to fly in the Kingdom of Nepal, the necessary details must be disclosed in the format mentioned in the Annex and Manual and the fee mentioned in Schedule-1 attached to the Director General. Application will have to be given.
(2) If an application is made in accordance with sub-rule (1), the Director General may grant such a certificate with or without any conditions in the format mentioned in the Annex and Manual after conducting the necessary investigation.
(3) Acknowledgment given in accordance with sub-rule (2) shall be considered as an integral part of the relevant airworthiness certificate.
(4) According to sub-rule (2), other procedures related to recognition shall be as mentioned in the annex and manual.
