Rule 7
8 scholarly instincts
(1) The Commission may provide expert advice on the following matters: (a) Ph.D. study.
(b) M. Phil. .
(c) Post Graduate Studies.
(2) Scholars in post-graduate level studies will be applicable only in the case of those educational programs in which study work has been conducted by graduate level teachers due to the unavailability of sufficient number of post-graduate level teachers.
(3) The Commission shall, at the beginning of each academic session, M. Phil., Masters level and Ph.D. The number and field (subject) of scholarship for H.D. will be decided and the appropriate teachers will be invited to apply for the scholarship.
(4) The details and other matters to be submitted by the applicants for scholarship shall be as determined by the Commission.
(5) M. Phil. and P.H. D. Applicants must submit a working paper (proposal) in at least 5,000 words showing the topic they are going to ask, its usefulness and appropriateness along with the application form.
(6) The research committee will evaluate the proposals presented and present its opinion to the commission. Based on that, the Commission will decide on the scholarly merit.
(7) When awarding scholarships, scholarships will be awarded for subjects to be studied in Nepal in general and for subjects that cannot be studied in Nepal for studying within the SAARC region.
(8) Other matters related to scholarship shall be as determined by the Commission.
