4. Policies

The following policies will be authorized to achieve the objectives of the National Sports Policy

(1) Making the sports sector disciplined, dignified and well-organized in accordance with the concept of sports for all as an important aspect of national development. will be installed.
(2) The resources of donor agencies and local bodies will be mobilized for the construction of new infrastructure and the development and expansion of rural physical infrastructure by protecting, enhancing and developing the physical infrastructure of sports in the country.
(3) Physical structures and infrastructures of sports will be modified in accordance with international values, recognition and laws.
(4) In addition to searching for talented players, sports training and competitions will be organized at local and national levels for the development of players.
(5) To ensure and dignify the participation of women in the field of sports, the games in which women participate will be made systematic and practical.
(6) In order to develop and expand the sports field as an integral part of people's life, sports programs and competitions will be encouraged at school and university, traditional and rural, adventure and touristic, local and provincial, public institutions, government departmental bodies and employees and other fields and levels.
(7) National players, coaches, sportsmen and sports-related personalities who contribute to the development and expansion of the nation's sports field will be given honors and awards based on certain criteria.
(8) Emphasis will be placed on the development and expansion of special and para sports as well as their participation in sports according to the needs and interests of disabled and disabled people will be encouraged.
(9) Programs will be conducted to ensure employment for players and coaches so that they can acquire professional skills and competencies.
(10) A clean sports environment free of prohibited drugs will be created by raising awareness against the use of prohibited drugs in the field of sports.br> (11) Classification and prioritization of games based on the nature and progress, popularity, potential, and success of various games will be done to make effective use of available resources and tools.
(12) A policy will be taken to develop Nepal as a place for sports so that we can take advantage of our geographical situation where the weather is favorable for sports throughout the twelve months.
(13) For the development and expansion of sports, the institutional structure of sports will be modified in time with the view of integrated coordination and cooperation of governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations.
(14) Arrangements for organizing and participating in international competitions will be arranged based on certain procedures by preparing suitable criteria for organizing and participating.
(15) National and international cooperation received in sports and all activities related to its use will be made transparent.
(16) By maintaining coordination between various bodies related to sports, the activities of those bodies will be defined in sports-related activities.
