Rule 2
Definition
In these Regulations, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,-
(a) "Act" means the Insurance Act, 2049.
(b) "Certificate" shall mean the certificate of registration of insurer issued to carry out insurance business by registering as an insurer in accordance with Rule 8.
(c) "Fee" shall mean the insurance fee charged by the insurer to the insured for carrying out insurance business.
(d) "Advisory Committee" shall mean Insurance Rate Advisory Committee constituted under Section 41 of the Act.
