In these Regulations, unless the subject or context otherwise requires-
(a) "Fund" means the Youth and Small Business Self-Employment Fund established under Rule 3.
(b) "Committee" means the fund management committee as per rule 6.
(c) "Unemployed" means a person who is not engaged in any profession including education and is not engaged in earning any income.
(d) "Secretariat" means the Secretariat of the Youth and Small Entrepreneurs Self-Employment Fund established by the Government of Nepal.
(e) "Training body" means the body under sub-rule (2) of rule 11.
(f) "Financial institution" means a financial institution registered in accordance with prevailing laws.
(C1) "Cooperative Society" shall mean a cooperative society or association registered in accordance with the prevailing law and the term also refers to a cooperative bank.
(g) “Vice-Chairman” means Rule 8A. The vice president of the fund appointed by the Government of Nepal should be considered as follows.
(h) "Executive Director" means the Executive Director as per rule 23.
