In this Act unless the subject or the context otherwise requires-
(a) "Agent" means a person who takes agency of a domestic or foreign firm on behalf of the territory of Nepal or any of its territories and this term also refers to a person acting as a distributor, stockist, nominee or representative.
(b) "Registered Agent" shall mean a person whose name is registered as an agent in accordance with section 4 of this Act.
