In these rules, unless the meaning otherwise requires,–

(a) “Act” means the Civil Service Act, 2049.

(b) “deputy” means abroad; Nepali Embassy, ​​Permanent Mission, Nepali Consulate General or Nepali Consulate shall mean any other body established by the Government of Nepal from time to time to represent abroad.

(c) "Head of Mission" means Schedule (1). (d) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (e) "Service" means the service under rule 3.
