In these rules, unless the subject or subject indicates otherwise,–
(a) "Act" means the Civil Service Act, 2049.
(b) "Regulations" means the Civil Service Rules, 2050.
(c) "Service" means the Nepal Administration Service as per Rule 3.
(d) "Group" means a group as per sub-rule (1) of rule 4.
(e) "Employee" shall mean civil servants of Nepal Administration Service or under that service.
