In this Act, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Emergency work" means emergency work that is done immediately under special circumstances caused by natural and unnatural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, fires, epidemics, etc.
(b) "Prescribed or prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
