Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in these rules –

(a) “Government office” shall mean all other offices of the Government of Nepal except military and police offices and the term shall include the offices of constitutional bodies.

(b) "Washing" means the act of canceling a document in a government office so that it cannot be read, understood or used, and the word also includes the act of burning such a document. .
(c) “Head of Office” means the Head of a Government Office.
