Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this Act:-

(a) “Council” means the National Sports Council established under section 3.

(b) ) "Chairman" shall mean the Chairman of the Council.

(c) "Member" shall mean a member of the Council and the term shall also refer to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Member-Secretary and Treasurer of the Council.

(g) "as prescribed or as prescribed" means as prescribed or as prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
