A person who is not satisfied with the punishment order given by the local authority under section 8 can appeal to the district court within 35 days from the date of receiving the notice of the order. However, if he does not provide a bond of Rs. or a sum of money for the penalty that is determined to be imposed on him, no such appeal will be entertained.
