Fair and official news and information from inside and abroad, in order to help citizens and foreigners to get information and to increase the sense of unity in Nepal as well as to create solid public opinion, to search for complete and real news and information in the country and abroad, to distribute the received news and information to the users. Since it is desirable to establish a nationwide National News Committee to provide proper information and lay a healthy and strong foundation for it, this Act has been enacted by Shri 5th Maharaj Adhiraj Mahendra Veer Vikram Shahdev according to Article 93 of the Constitution of Nepal.
