Unless the subject or context otherwise requires, in these
Rules,-
(a) “Act” means the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act,
2029 (1974).
(b) “Chief” means the officer of the National Parks and Wildlife
Conservation 1Department.
(c) “Warden” means the officer of the Government of Nepal having
major responsibility of administration of a National park or a
sanctuary (reserves).
(d) “License” means any type of license that has to be issued
pursuant to these Rules.
(e) “Permit” means any type of permit that has to be issued pursuant
to these Rules.
