(1) Where any person commits any act in contravention of Section 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12 or Section 15, such person shall be punished with a fine from ten
thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or with both, depending on the gravity of offence.
(2) Where any person who is not a citizen of Nepal cast vote, such person shall be punished with a fine not exceeding fifty thousand rupees or with
imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or with both.
(3) Any person who makes attempt to commit or aids or entices the commission of the offence referred to in Section 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12 or Section 15
shall be punished with half the punishment to be imposed on the principal offender.
