Section 65
Promoting children's rights

(1) Notwithstanding anything written in section 64, if someone violates the rights of children as per paragraph-2 or does not fulfill the obligations towards children as per paragraph-3, the concerned children or interested parties may directly apply to the relevant high court for the enforcement of those rights or the fulfillment of obligations.< br> (2) If a petition is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the High Court may issue an appropriate order in the name of the concerned person, organization or agency to promote the rights of children or to fulfill the obligations towards children after conducting the necessary investigation in that regard.
(3) If, upon examining the application received under sub-section (1), it appears that the guardian or any family member has not violated the rights of the child or fulfilled the obligation towards the child, the High Court shall inform such guardian or family member about the rights of the child and ensure that the rights of the child are not violated again or fulfill the obligation towards the child. (4) When issuing an order in accordance with sub-section (2), the High Court may warn the person, organization or head of the agency that violates the rights of children or does not fulfill its obligations towards children or punish them in accordance with this Act and order them to pay compensation.
