Protection of Children

(1) A person who knows that there are children in need of special protection in a place shall inform the Child Welfare Officer.
(2) If information is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the child welfare officer may rescue such children and place them in the temporary protection service as per section 69 if they see that such children need to be rescued immediately.
(3) On the basis of the information received as per sub-section (1), the child welfare officer may make arrangements for the necessary services after investigation and investigation.
(4) The child welfare officer may assign responsibility to the designated social worker to provide the necessary services as per sub-section (3).
(5) In accordance with sub-section (3), other necessary services for children who need special protection shall be ensured during investigation and investigation. If there is no need for special protection and if his father, mother, other family members or guardians are found, the child welfare officer shall entrust such children to him.
(6) According to sub-section (5), if the child welfare officer finds that there is a need to provide assistance to the children to be entrusted to their father, mother, other family members or guardians, they shall coordinate with the related agencies and arrange necessary services such as assistance sponsorship or family assistance. Explanation: For the purpose of this section,–
(a) "Support sponsorship" means any person, association, organization or body providing long-term and short-term financial support for the necessary upbringing and education of children.
(b) "Family support" means support to identify and solve the economic and social reasons that lead to the disintegration of the children's family, thereby maintaining the unity and harmony of the family and creating an environment in which children are protected within the respective families.
(7) If it is found that there is a need for alternative care during the examination and investigation according to sub-section (3), the child welfare officer shall make arrangements for alternative care.
(8) Victims in cases where children are victimsIf the girl wishes, or if the parents or guardians are the perpetrators, or if there is a possibility that the children who are in contact with the perpetrators are likely to be more at risk, or if there is an obstacle to the investigation, action and understanding of the facts of the incident, the child welfare officer should make arrangements to separate such victimized children from their parents or families for a certain period and keep them in temporary protection services. will fall.
(9) If it is found that the child's father's and mother's addresses are not known during the examination and investigation according to sub-section (3), the child welfare officer shall recommend for his/her birth registration and government identity card.
