Rule 94
Benefit for amputation or injury

(1) Even if an employee is injured in the course of government work and is not required to retire from service, if the injury hinders his capacity growth, considering the circumstances of the injury suffered by such an employee, the pay increase of the last scale of salary or a lump sum of up to ten thousand rupees. Assistance can be given.
(2) An appointed employee will be entitled to additional sick leave with full pay without deduction from any of his accrued leave for the entire period required to treat the injury as per sub-rule (1).
(3) Such an employee will get 100% of the amount incurred while undergoing treatment as per sub-rule (2). Due to the receipt of such treatment expenses, it shall not be considered that any obstacle has been created for such employee to receive the treatment expenses which may be received according to sub-rule (1) of rule 91 when he becomes ill.
(4) An employee will not be entitled to benefits under this rule in case of amputation due to his own serious negligence.
