(1) Upon receiving information that there has been or is about to be misuse of authority, the authorized staff assigned by the Commission in the course of investigation and investigation may use the powers to arrest, search, and seize people according to the Act and this regulation if it appears that there is a need to intervene immediately.
(2) While conducting an investigation on the basis of a complaint, if corruption or unfair actions are found to have occurred in matters other than those written in the complaint, the Commission may also investigate matters not mentioned in the complaint and decide whether or not to prosecute the case or take action or not on the basis of that investigation.
