In this regulation, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Act" means the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority Act, 2048.
(b) "Preliminary investigation" means the investigation conducted by the commission before the appointment of the investigation officer as per section 12 of the Act.
(c) "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Commission.
