Rule 6A
Arrangements for teaching permit

(1) The Commission shall conduct a written examination for the purpose of granting a teaching permit. Such examination should be conducted separately for primary, lower secondary and secondary level teachers.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the Commission shall publicly publish a notice stating the time period for submitting the application for the written examination, the application fee, the place of submission of the application, the date, time and center of the examination.
(3) A person who wants to participate in the examination as per sub-rule (2) must submit the application at the place specified in the notification.
(4) If it is found that the application submitted as per sub-rule (3) has been selected, the Commission shall issue the admit card to the applicant to participate in the examination.
(5) In the written examination to be conducted according to sub-rule (1), full marks will be one hundred and passing marks will be fifty.
(6) The commission will issue a permanent teaching permit in the format as per schedule-2 to the person who is successful in the examination conducted as per sub-rule (1).
(7) Other arrangements related to the examination as per sub-rule (1) shall be as prescribed by the Commission.
(8) The Commission shall request the details of the teachers from the District Education Office and issue a temporary teaching permit to the teachers working in the school in the format as per schedule-2.
