8. Monitoring and Evaluation

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of Nepal will be the mechanism to monitor and evaluate whether the results and objectives of this National Youth Policy have been fully or partially met. For this, arrangements will be made to enhance the institutional capacity of the Ministry as needed. A policy of adopting a participatory monitoring system for monitoring and evaluation will be adopted. This policy will be regularly reviewed and revised every 5 years. Since a large national youth survey has not been conducted while formulating this policy, this policy will be revised as per the need after the adolescent and youth survey conducted by the Central Statistics Department.
