5. Objectives

The objectives of this policy are as follows:

(1) To develop and expand the role and potential of youth in nation building and national development,
(2) To increase the sense of responsibility and accountability by making the youth dedicated and committed to the nation and nationality, the people and the federal democratic republic,
(3) To develop creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation in the youth as the basic power of development and to reveal the inherent potential in them,
(4) By developing a culture of respect for labor, by properly developing the physical, mental, intellectual, moral and emotional aspects of the youth, preparing high-spirited, moral, cultured, creative and professionally skilled youth, (5) Ensuring the basic rights of the youth, the youth class in productive resources. To increase access and establish youth as the driving force of national development through meaningful participation based on gender sensitivity in the policy making, decision making and implementation process at all levels of economic, social, political and cultural sectors of the nation,
(6) Helping the personal and social development of young people who are in the process of acquiring education and are in a sensitive situation to establish their identity in the society, including education, employment, career,
(7) Empowering the priority group and special priority group youth through positive discrimination and bringing them into the mainstream of development.
