: (1) Investigating officers employed in narcotics control operations shall have the same rights as the police in accordance with the prevailing law when conducting investigations related to narcotics.
(2) During the investigation in connection with drug dealing, the investigation officer shall have the same rights as the customs officer according to the current Customs Act to search the goods of any person suspected of dealing in such drug. But before conducting the search, the investigation officer should give the search warrant to the concerned person.
(3) According to the prevailing Postal Act, the investigating officer shall have the right to censor any item received from the postal service which is found to be suspicious in connection with the investigation of narcotic drugs.
