(1) According to this Act, the commission may appoint or designate any commissioner or any employee of the commission or any employee of the Government of Nepal or any public institution as an investigation officer to carry out the preliminary investigation or investigation and investigation of the crime of unfair action or corruption. However, if the commission appoints or designates an employee of a government or public institution as an investigation officer, it shall be appointed or appointed in consultation with the chief official of the office of the Government of Nepal or the relevant public institution, depending on the situation.
(2) An investigation officer appointed or designated by the Commission in accordance with sub-section (1) may use the powers conferred on the Commission in relation to investigations and investigations in accordance with this Act.
