Rule 57
Leave can be granted to serve in international associations, organizations
If an employee applies to take leave to serve in international associations, organizations and if there is sufficient basis to be useful to the Government of Nepal when he is sent to serve in this way, the Government of Nepal can get it according to sub-rule (1) of Rule 54. Allowing him to come back to serve later, deducting from extraordinary leave, he may be allowed to go to such service for a maximum of three years at a time, not exceeding one year at a time. However, according to this rule, employees who are going to serve in international associations and organizations will not be assigned as employees.
