(1) The bridegroom's expenses for the education of the groom or the capital he needs to invest in business or business or the wedding expenses for the groom should not be taken from the bride's side.
(2) Travel expenses and food expenses incurred during marriage should not be borne by the bride's party or by that party.
(3) No kind of cash gift should be given to the pilgrims. However, it will not be a hindrance to give cash or kind wages to porters who go with them.
(4) Violators of sub-section (1) or (2) shall be punished with confiscation of property and a fine of twenty thousand to forty thousand rupees or imprisonment for fifteen days or both.
(5) Violators of sub-section (3) shall be fined from twenty thousand to forty thousand rupees or imprisoned for fifteen days.
