Section 13
Disqualification
(1) The following persons shall be considered ineligible to be appointed in the Nepali Army:-
(a) Non-Nepali citizens,
(b) Convicted of criminal charges showing moral turpitude,
(c) Dismissed to disqualify him for future Government service,
(d) found guilty of human rights violations,
(e) Not having the prescribed qualifications as per sub-section (4) of section 12.
(2) What is written in clause (a) of sub-section (1) shall not be deemed to have hindered the Government of Nepal from obtaining technical and expert services from non-Nepalese citizens for a short period of time.
