(1) The department shall formulate and implement a code of conduct to be followed by prison office staff, security personnel, prisoners and visitors to maintain the order of the prison, to maintain the discipline of the prisoners or to manage the security of the prison. (2) It shall be the duty of employees, security personnel, prisoners and all concerned to follow the code of conduct as per sub-section (1).
(3) In addition to fines as per sub-section (1) of section 52, employees or security personnel who violate the code of conduct as per sub-section (1) will also be subject to departmental punishment as per prevailing law.
