Rule 28
Must complete basic training
: (1) Every armed police officer who has been selected and appointed through open competition must have participated in the basic training prescribed for that position and completed the training.
(2) Candidates who have not successfully completed basic training will not be assigned to armed police operations and responsibilities.
(3) Only those candidates who have passed the basic training will be awarded the badge.
