Rule 157
Rewards
: If the armed police personnel of their subordinate offices perform commendable actions in the performance of their duties, the following armed police officers may reward such armed police personnel with the following grade addition or a lump sum reward:-
(a) The Inspector General of Armed Police shall receive up to five pay increments or up to two thousand five hundred rupees in cash,
(b) Additional inspector general of armed police or deputy inspector general of armed police as head of office, additional up to three pay increments or up to one thousand five hundred rupees in cash,
(c) The Senior Superintendent of Armed Police, Superintendent of Armed Police and Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police who are the head of the office will receive up to two salary increments and cash up to one thousand rupees. However, in the case of awards given according to clause (c), the head of the awarding office must obtain the prior approval of the head office.
