: (1) An armed police officer who is not satisfied with the order of departmental punishment given in accordance with this paragraph may file an appeal before the designated authority in accordance with rule 115.
(2) When making an appeal against the departmental punishment order in accordance with sub-rule (1), the following procedures shall be followed:-
(a) The appellant armed police personnel should appeal in his own name and write such appeal in appropriate and respectful language,
(b) The armed police officer making the appeal shall enclose with the appeal the supporting evidence for the purpose of his clearance and also attach a copy of the order against which the appeal is made,
(c) When giving an appeal, the appeal should be addressed to the officer hearing the appeal and filed in his office or through the same officer against whose order the appeal is made,
(d) An appeal should be made within thirty five days from the date of receiving the punishment order. (3) The concerned office shall register the appeal received as per sub-rule (2) and give a copy thereof to the concerned armed police personnel.
