In addition to the functions, duties and powers mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Commission shall be as follows:-
(a) To study and observe records, documents and other materials related to information of public importance in public bodies,
(b) to list and order information related to records, documents or other materials in such body,
(c) Ordering the concerned public body to publish information for the information of citizens,
(d) Ordering the concerned public body to give the information requested by the petitioner within the time limit,
(e) Ordering the concerned party to comply with the obligations under this Act,
(f) To give necessary suggestions or recommendations to the government of Nepal and various agencies related to information and communication for the protection and promotion of the right to information,
(g) To issue other appropriate orders necessary for the protection, promotion and promotion of the right to information.
