Section 19
Vice Chancellor

(1) The Vice-Chancellor will be the chief officer working full-time in Pragya Pratishthan.
(1A) A committee consisting of two members of the Assembly under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor will be formed to recommend the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor will appoint the person recommended by the committee from among the people who have made outstanding contributions in the field of science and technology.
(2) The tenure of the Vice-Chancellor shall be four years. He can be re-appointed to the same post one more time.
(3) The Vice-Chancellor will be in charge of implementing the decisions and instructions made by the Assembly and the Council.
(4) It shall be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor to enforce this Act or the rules or regulations made under this Act.
(5) The Vice-Chancellor shall have general control over all the activities of Prajna Pratishthan.
(6) Other duties, duties and rights of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
(7) The remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
(8) If the Vice-Chancellor feels that any work under this Act or the rules or regulations made under this Act should not be done immediately, the Vice-Chancellor may take such action and he shall inform the Assembly as soon as possible.
