Rule 69
Gratuity
: (1) An armed police officer who has served for five years or more but has not reached the period of pension in accordance with rule 70, if he retires or resigns after accepting his resignation, or if he is removed from service without being disqualified for government service in the future, he will get gratuity at the following rate: –
(a) Armed Police personnel who have been employed for more than five years and ten years, the last half month salary for each year of service,
(b) Armed police personnel who have been employed for more than ten years and fifteen years, last one month's salary for each year of service,
(c) Armed police personnel who have been employed for more than fifteen years but less than twenty years, the salary of the last one and a half months for each year of service. (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), no gratuity shall be given to such armed police personnel if it is proved that citizenship or age or qualification has been falsified for the purpose of obtaining or remaining in service in the armed police.
