(1) The work, duties and powers of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as follows:-
(a) Supervising and controlling all activities of the University,
(b) To implement the decisions and instructions of the Assembly, (c) To submit proposals on all matters to be presented in the meeting,
(d) To decide short-term or long-term programs for the development of the university, (e) To represent the university in various bodies (f) To arrange necessary resources for the university.
(2) The Vice-Chancellor shall perform other duties except the duties specified to be performed by any body or officer in this Act or the rules made under this Act. If the Vice-Chancellor has done any such work, he should immediately inform the Vice-Chancellor and get approval from the meeting held immediately after the work is done.
(3) Other duties, duties and powers of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
