Section 38
Functions, Duties and Rights of Single Point Service Center
(1) The work, duties and powers of the single point service center shall be as follows:-
(a) Acting related to industry and business administration including registration, permit or license, renewal, business permit, capacity building and liquidation of company, firm or industry (except Damasahi) in accordance with prevailing laws,
(b) Acting on approval of foreign investment in accordance with prevailing laws,
(c) Acting on labor approval and work agreement in accordance with prevailing laws,
(d) Acting on visa facilities in accordance with prevailing laws,
(e) Acting on preliminary environmental testing and environmental impact assessment in accordance with prevailing laws,
(f) Coordinating with the relevant agencies regarding the provision of infrastructure services such as electricity, water, means of communication, land, and roads required by the industry and a point of contact between other agencies
(focal point) to act on,
(g) To implement or cause the decisions made by the Government of Nepal regarding the provision of incentives, discounts, facilities or concessions to industry and investors in accordance with prevailing laws,
(h) Acting on acceptance of foreign currency exchange in accordance with prevailing laws,
(i) Provide permanent account number in accordance with prevailing law,
(h) To do the work related to the export, import signal number provided by the Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection and the Customs Department and the facilitation of the Wounded Warehouse,
(k) To perform the functions delegated by the Board under its functions, duties and powers,
(l) Coordinating the authorities to provide the approval letter by taking applications for the matters requiring institutional approval, including mining, required by the industry. (D) To identify the documents required for industrial business registration and to take them in electronic form and to develop and implement the system so that all agencies use the electronic system inter-agency,
(d) Delay in acquisition of land required for industryCoordinating and facilitating, assisting in providing land on lease and coordinating necessary to provide land in excess of the limit,
(n) In case of goods requiring import permit, to give permission or recommend for the same according to prevailing law (p) Providing information and information related to investment by establishing and operating an investment portal,
(th) Doing all kinds of recommendations and facilitations necessary for industry and business,
(d) To execute the decisions or directives of the Ministry and the Board,
(d) Perform other tasks prescribed by the Government of Nepal by publishing notices in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) According to this section, the decision made by the Ekal Nindu Service Center shall be implemented by the concerned body.
(3) The operation and management of the single point service center and the provision of service facilities and concessions provided by the center and its procedures shall be as prescribed.
