The work, duties and powers of the Agency shall be as follows :-
(a) Prepare the annual plan, program and budget of the agency and submit it to the Council for approval (b) to implement, to cause,
the approved program (c) To act against the consumption of prohibited drugs for organizing and participating in national and international level sports competitions,
(D) / Organizing studies, research, training and seminars against the consumption of prohibited drugs in sports,
(e) To coordinate and cooperate between the relevant agencies of the federation, state and local level for actions against the use of prohibited drugs in sports,
(f) arranging for the establishment and operation of anti-doping laboratories,
(g) To coordinate and cooperate with the hospitals against the use of banned drugs in sports as needed,
(h) To manage the manpower (doping officers) required to work against the use of prohibited drugs in sports,
(i) Organizing public awareness programs against the consumption of prohibited drugs in sports through the federal, provincial and local levels. (h) Designate contact persons for anti-doping work in the National Sports Association, manage records and conduct training for contact persons,
(k) Orientation on anti-doping matters in coordination with the Olympic Committee for athletes, coaches and other officials who are going to participate in international sports competitions,
(l) To determine the basic standards of anti-doping to be followed while conducting sports competitions organized at different levels, monitor and recommend for improvement.
