(1) Any employee who has been nominated before going for study, training or study tour shall return after completing such study, training or study tour and give a confession of service as per rule 36.
(2) If the employee who has been nominated according to sub-rule (1) does not come to serve after completing the study, training or study visit or if he does not complete the service period as per rule 36, the salary and allowance received from such employee throughout the period of study, training or study visit shall be forfeited. If the scholarship amount and other amounts mentioned in the acknowledgment are not paid within the specified period, they will be charged like the government balance.
(3) Employees who have gone on study, training or study tour in private effort with the prior approval of the authority, after completing the study, training or study tour, must agree to serve for the period equal to the period spent on study, training or study tour.
(4) The format of confession to be made by employees going on study, training or study visit will be as per schedule-8.
(5) According to sub-rules (1) and (3), if an employee who has gone on a study, training or study tour does not come to serve after completing the study, training or study tour or does not complete the service period, the period of such employee's study, training or study tour shall be counted in his service period. (6) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, if an employee who has gone on a study, training or study visit cannot complete the service period as per rule 36 due to retirement or death, no amount shall be collected from him or his family.
