Section 62
Offense
If any person commits any of the following acts, he shall be deemed to have committed an offense under this Act:-
(a) setting fire to a train or railway or throwing explosives, any incendiary material or electric shock (ambush) or in any other way obstructing the operation of a train: Punish,
(b) seizing a train or railway - or otherwise causing damage to the property of a train or railway,
(c) Train accident: Throwing any object on the train or railway, stone, wood or any other object on the rail. Any person other than the keeper or the authorized officer shall pull out the nails, forks, slipper etc., loosen the joints or operate, manipulate or close the rails or other related parts,
(d) Hiding, moving, removing, displaying differently, changing, erasing, removing, scratching any train or any target or light of the train, etc. which causes a train accident, (e) any person other than an authorized officer stops a running train without any reason or obstructs the running of the train or creates obstruction to prevent the running of the train,
(f) Running a train under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
(g) Arguing with railway staff or passengers, making noise inside the train or using abusive or obscene or insulting words to anyone,
(h) obstructing or obstructing a railway servant in the discharge of his official duties,
(h) any person other than an authorized person uses or interferes with any communication equipment installed for the purpose of the railway; (h) Train driver or co-driver to run train without obtaining a license under this Act,
(k) to give the train driver's or co-driver's license obtained by him to any other person for use in running the train,
(g) correcting the number, letter, date or practice of a license or ticket for the purpose of traveling by train or causing it,
(d) Sale of tickets or distribution of warrants without the permission of the Board,
(l) submitting false claims to the Board that passengers or baggage are lost, destroyed, damaged or not returned;or giving a false account thereof,
(n) Causing unnecessary inconvenience to passengers in trains,
(p) any person other than an authorized person, defaces, defaces, tampers with or corrects public notices issued for railway operations,
(h) Throwing dust or dirt or garbage or any other matter on the train or railways or on passengers,
(d) traveling by sitting in a prohibited place on the train, and
(d) Doing any other act contrary to this Act.
