(1) The committee may establish a performance incentive fund in accordance with section 44 of the Act to improve the performance of the Secretariat and bring effectiveness to the service.
(2) In the fund according to sub-rule (1), the secretariat can also collect the amount given by the government of Nepal in the form of incentives based on the amount saved by spending less than the previous financial year on the consumption of general expenses and office operating expenses.
(3) From the amount collected according to sub-rule (2), the secretariat may determine the criteria for evaluating the employees and give reward money as an incentive to the employees based on the evaluation of the performance level of the employees.
(4) The committee may create and implement separate guidelines for the management, operation and determination of performance fund.
