Rule 44
Evaluation of work performance
: (1) The work performance evaluation form used for the evaluation of the performance of armed police personnel shall be as per schedule-7.
(2) The division of the total score of the performance evaluation of the armed police personnel will be as follows:-
(a) Maximum that can be awarded by the Superintendent – ​​twenty marks
(b) Maximum that can be awarded by the reviewer – ten marks
(c) Maximum that can be awarded by the Review Committee – Ten marks
(3) While filling and evaluating the performance evaluation form, the guidelines mentioned in Schedule-8 should be followed.
(4) There will be a supervisor, reviewer and review committee as mentioned in schedule-9 to evaluate the performance of armed police personnel.
(5) The supervisor, reviewer and review committee, while awarding marks for performance evaluation, should be given in accordance with the basis mentioned in the performance evaluation form.
(6) Performance evaluation of armed police personnel should be done annually in terms of financial year.
(7) For the performance evaluation, the supervisor should explain the clear reason for giving marks more than ninety percent or less than sixty percent.
(8) If the supervisor or the reviewer is not satisfied with the performance evaluation, the review committee can send it back to the relevant evaluator for re-evaluation with clear reasons. If it is sent back in such a way, the concerned appraiser shall re-appraise or if it is not necessary to amend the previous assessment, the proper reason should be disclosed.
(9) For the purpose of evaluating the performance of the mission for the service of the United Nations, the armed police personnel assigned to such mission shall submit the performance evaluation form to the higher level armed police personnel in the said mission. The performance evaluation form submitted in this way is evaluated by the relevant evaluator in that mission for further evaluationIt should be sent to the head office. But in the case of the senior commander of the armed police assigned to such a mission, he should send his performance evaluation form to the head office and his performance evaluation should be done by the evaluator as per sub-rule (4).
(10) While calculating the marks for the purpose of performance evaluation, the number of years of service required to be a potential candidate for promotion will be calculated from the average of the last year's performance evaluation form.
(11) When calculating the marks for the performance evaluation of the armed police personnel who are under study, training or suspension for that period, the marks obtained in the year immediately preceding such study, training or suspension will be calculated in the same proportion.
(12) The performance evaluation form of the armed police personnel should be submitted as follows:-
(a) The concerned employee fills the performance evaluation form before the supervisor within 7th of Shrawan of every financial year,
(b) Assessed by the supervisor before the reviewer within 15th of Shrawan,
(c) Assessed by the Reviewer before the Review Committee within the month of Shravan,
(d) The review committee evaluates and submits the sealing form to the relevant office within 15th of Bhadra (e) The evaluation form of the Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police and lower level officers and armed police personnel of other ranks shall be submitted by the head of the concerned office to the head office within 25th of Bhadra. (f) One copy of the performance evaluation form of the Armed Police Inspector or above by the Head Office before the Ministry within the month of Bhadra.
