Section 13
Executive Head
(1) There shall be an Executive Head in the Board to conduct the daily administration of the Board and carry out the work of the Board. And other facilities will be as specified by the Government of Nepal.
(3) Nepali citizens who have the following qualifications can be appointed to the position of executive chief:-
(a) Economics, Management, Engineering from a recognized educational institution. Or project analysis, having passed at least master's degree in commercial-law subject and having high level of competence with at least ten years of experience in the related field,
(b) Thirty-five years of age.
(4) To recommend the appointment of the executive head to the board, the government of Nepal will form a selection committee consisting of the vice chairman of the National Planning Commission and one former secretary of the government of Nepal under the coordination of the vice chairman of the board, and such committee will recommend the names of three people for the appointment of the executive head after completing the prescribed procedure on the basis of competition.
(5) One of the persons recommended according to sub-section (4) shall be appointed by the Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers to the post of Executive Chief.
(7) The position of the Executive Chief shall be vacant in the following cases:-
(a) If he resigns from his position before the Board,
(b) If he dies. ) According to clause (c) of sub-section (7), the Government of Nepal shall give the Chief Executive an opportunity for clarification as prescribed before removing him from his position.
