:- Public-private partnership for economic development, cooperatives and domestic and foreign private sector investments to accelerate the process of industrialization in a systematic manner, to develop a strong, dynamic and competitive economy by building and developing essential infrastructure, and to contribute meaningfully to poverty alleviation by creating employment opportunities. Since it is desirable to form an empowered investment board to achieve this, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act as a legislature-parliament as per Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063.
